TEHRAN – Ali Davoudi and Mohsen Dadras seized a silver and a bronze medal respectively in the 2022 Asian Weightlifting Championships on Sunday.

In the Men +109kg category, Gor Minasyan not only won two gold medals (Snatch and Total) and one Silver (C&J) for the host country, Bahrain but also set a new Asian Record in snatch with 210kg and in total with 452kg.

Tokyo 2020 silver medalist Ali Davoudi won the 438kg and his teammate Mohsen Dadras finished 3rd with 407kg.

The 2022 Asian Weightlifting Championships were held in Manama, Bahrain from Oct. 6 to 16.
